Deca (Delivering Effective Climate Actions) will develop innovative adaptation strategies and funds to reduce costs and improve effectiveness of the climate change policies in public authorities.”
By 2027 DECA will have improved governance in climate adaptation plans. Involved partners will change the management of their policy instruments, inserting or adopting new methods and criteria or strategies (financial and social) into the system of their adaptation policy plans. The project will focus on new calls on climate changes and attractive investments will mobilise additional funds and resources to finance a portfolio of innovation actions.
Deca will also work on climate risk management and community- based adaptation plans. It will focus on the detailed steps and activities as well as investment documentation (including financial management of the projects) to be taken in order to minimize the climate change risks.
